The county contains the City of Loganville, the City of Social Circle, and the City of Monroe which is the county seat. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is a full-service agency responsible with operating the county jail, serving civil papers and operating court services, providing School Resource Officers, criminal investigations, as well as responding to calls for service with a full Uniform Patrol Division.
