The Radiological Operations Support Specialist (ROSS) Nuclear Detonation Practical Assessment assists Participants complete assigned tasks within their Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Qualification System (NQS), Position Task Book (PTB). Using the Virtual Evaluation Scenario Tool (VEST), the ROSS will be provided the environment and activities that allow the participants to demonstrate the required ROSS knowledge, skills, and abilities for advancement to the next ROSS type.
