Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs send drones to 911 calls ahead of or instead of patrol officers, but what impact do they actually have on police response times? This webinar examines findings from a Philadelphia study involving more than 1,500 calls over four months. Calls assigned a drone response were completed an average of 14.5 minutes faster from receipt to closure, a 17% reduction, with most of the time savings occurring before patrol officers were dispatched.
