Instructor Z is an internationally recognized police and corrections trainer. He serves as a contract trainer with reputable state and federal government entities, such as the Texas Department of Public Safety, the US Department of Justice, and the US Department of State. In these roles, he is tasked with traveling across the US, Mexico and other countries in Latin America, presenting specialized training programs to equip domestic and foreign police instructors with the best practices in law enforcement training. Moreover, in June 2022, Instructor Z was appointed by TCOLE to serve on the committee for the redevelopment and redesign of both the basic and advanced instructor courses. If there is an instructor who understands the ins and outs of curriculum development and training best practices, it is Instructor Z.
