The ALERRT First Responder Breaching course in Laredo, held at the Texas DPS office, offers a tailored 4-hour training session for first responders looking to enhance their breaching abilities with hand tools. This specialized version of our well-known breaching course focuses exclusively on manual techniques, utilizing tools like the Halligan bar and sledgehammer.
During this course, participants will explore the art and science of gaining entry in high-pressure situations commonly encountered during emergency responses. The curriculum progresses from fundamental to advanced techniques, ensuring a complete understanding of tool handling, door anatomy, and the most efficient methods for quick and safe breaching.
Through hands-on exercises, attendees will have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills in simulated environments that simulate real-world scenarios. Our experienced instructors will provide individualized feedback and guidance to ensure mastery over these critical skills.
Ideal for law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and any other first responder who may encounter obstacles during emergency operations, this condensed yet intensive course provides both physical proficiency in manual breaching as well as a heightened tactical awareness of when and how to effectively utilize these techniques in the field.
