The 2-hour Law Enforcement Officer Flying Armed training (TCOLE #3303) is a specialized training program designed for law enforcement officers who are required to fly while armed. This course provides officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and effectively carry firearms while traveling on aircraft.
The training covers a variety of topics related to flying armed, including federal regulations and policies governing the carrying of firearms on commercial and private flights. It also includes an overview of tactical considerations specific to air travel, such as proper weapon handling and storage in confined spaces.
Additionally, this training covers the legal aspects of flying armed, including understanding jurisdictional boundaries for law enforcement officers when traveling across state lines.
