The TASER, SFST, and ERASE Week training event for Group 2, scheduled from June 18 to 21, presents a comprehensive program designed to elevate the expertise and capabilities of law enforcement professionals in critical areas vital to their roles.
Participants will engage in a rigorous recertification process focusing on the AXON TASER X2. This segment of the training aims to update participants with the latest techniques and protocols for the safe and effective utilization of TASER devices. Emphasis will be placed on proper handling, situational awareness, and best practices for deploying TASERs in various operational scenarios.
The SFST refresher component is crafted to reinforce participants' proficiency in conducting NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Participants will sharpen their abilities in recognizing signs of impairment in drivers, administering standardized tests accurately, and staying informed on current laws and regulations concerning impaired driving. This session equips participants with the necessary skills to address incidents involving impaired driving effectively.
Participants will immerse themselves in ALERRT ERASE training tailored for law enforcement officers facing high-risk situations, especially active shooter events. Over three intensive days, participants will partake in realistic scenarios simulating real-world challenges. They will learn tactical strategies to respond promptly and decisively, minimizing harm and neutralizing threats efficiently.

This training event amalgamates crucial components essential for law enforcement professionals, equipping them with updated skills and knowledge necessary for executing their duties proficiently. By combining TASER, SFST, and ALERRT ERASE trainings, participants will be well-prepared to navigate challenging situations competently, ensuring the safety and security of the community.
Required Equipment: Good attitude, open mind, pen and paper, duty gear, clothing conducive for crawling around on the ground (Class D), water and or hydration system, body armor, long gun, and inclement weather gear (majority of course is outside regardless of weather conditions)
