This mixed training event is designed to provide comprehensive and specialized learning opportunities for law enforcement professionals. The event consists of three key components: AXON TASER X2 recertification, NHTSA SFST refresher, and ALERRT ERASE training.

Firstly, the participants of this event will undergo recertification for the AXON TASER X2. This training will ensure that they are up-to-date with the latest techniques and procedures for effectively using the TASER in their line of work. Participants will learn about the safe and proper use of the TASER, as well as how to handle different situations in which it may be necessary to use it. This component of the training will take place on April 22nd.

Next, participants will refresh their knowledge on NHTSA SFST (Standardized Field Sobriety Testing). This portion of the event will cover important skills such as identifying impaired drivers and conducting standardized tests to determine their level of impairment. Participants will also learn about current laws and regulations related to driving under the influence. The SFST refresher will take place from 8am to noon on April 22nd.

In addition to these two components, participants in group 1 will also attend ALERRT ERASE training on April 24th through 26th. This training program is specifically designed for law enforcement officers who may encounter active shooter situations or other high-risk events. During this intense three-day training, participants will engage in realistic scenarios that simulate real-life situations they may face. They will learn strategies for responding quickly and effectively to minimize casualties and neutralize threats.

To ensure that all participants have a chance to complete both TASER and SFST trainings, group 1 will attend SFST from 8am-noon on April 22nd followed by TASER from 1p-5p on the same day. Additionally, starting from April 24th, group 1 will join group 2 for the ALERRT ERASE training.

The event outline is as follows:
Day 1 (April 22nd):
8:00am-12:00pm - NHTSA SFST refresher training for group 1
1:00pm-5:00pm - AXON TASER X2 recertification for group 1

Day 2-4 (April 24th-26th):
8:00am-5:00pm - ALERRT ERASE training for both groups (group 1 and group 2)
